This is a very distinctive property. The hotel feels like a modern Italian villa but is located in the heart of the city near the Spanish Steps. Staff are very attentive.
The rooms are perhaps small for the price but are well furnished and the public areas are lovely. Food is overpriced.Recommended for:

The most stunning gardens! Tucked away on the side of Piazza d Popolo it is difficult to find but oh so worth it. The rooms are beautiful, very classic in style but opulent. If you don't like dressing up then this might not be the right place for you to stay. Very expensive, in the $600.00 and up for a midsize room and you will need to stay in that room category. The basic rooms are really tiny and disappointing. The best thing about this hotel is the service. Over-the-Toyet discreet, you easily appreciate the difference's between this and a luxury hotel else where.Recommended for:

Simple, elegant, perfectly located between the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo, bordered by the Borghese Gardens. Even if you're not staying here, stop by for a cocktail in the Secret Garden, where the bartender is famous for inventive, delicious drinks and the atmosphere--terraced gardens, candlelight, sophisticated Romans, is magical. The hotel also has a great spa--available to non-hotel guests--and perfect to book upon arrival and be treated to a massage that is tailor made to stave off jet lag.

Modern, sleek, chic and located right at the Piazza del Popolo, mere steps from the Spanish... steps. From the outside, the hotel looks worn down, old, period, classic-- whatever you choose to call it. On the inside though, one can only describe the hotel as elegant, modern, upscale, and beautiful all at the same time. Rooms are incredibly comfortable and have A/C (a luxury not often found in Italy). Perhaps my favorite part was breakfast in the courtyard. Just a totally serene, peaceful, and delicious experience despite the bustle just outside the front door. Two thumbs up. Would stay again!
