This hotel is situated nearby Trastevere, at the foot of Gianicolo. The structure was a convent, built for wish of Borromini and in fact right inside it's possible to see the ancient side chapel. Everything is prepared with attention to the smallest detail. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Breakfast is included and it is served in the inner garden. On the top of the roof there is a big terrace with a breath-taking view of Rome. But the really bright spot is the parking inside the hotel, totally for free, very difficult to find in Rome. Staff is very kind, helpful and efficient. A really pleasant place to stay.Recommended for:

In this hotel you feel like you are in a museum. Before being a hotel the building was use as a convent. In fact next to the hotel entrance is established a holy order. There is a wide inner courtyard where the guests can park without addictional fees, if this is not full. It’s really convenient, especially in this area. The hotel is located at the feet of Gianicolo, one of the seven hills of Rome. The rooms have an old style decor, but they are fine, and the bathroom is clean and well accessoried. There is no restaurant but the bar can prepare cold dishes if requested. All the structure has wide spaces and high ceilings, it’s relaxing after a day in crowded places.Recommended for:

This convent / hotel is a wonderfully secluded historic landmark just steps from central Trastavere. The building and courtyard are exceptionally nice. Rooms are also quite nice by European standards.
Service is pretty rude but, at the price point, this is an incredible value for Rome.
Note that breakfast runs out quickly and they may not replenish. Avoid street facing rooms. There is a night club that can be very loud on weekends.
Wi-Fi for free in lobby but not in rooms.Recommended for:
