Located right in the heart of the Marais, the Duo Axial seems like the perfect place for young, trendy guests who priviledge modern-looking décor.
Its interior is sleek and playful, with a sauna, fitness center, and a bar/lounge that was pretty busy even in the middle of the afternoon.
The rooms are on the small side, but do a good job of mixing comfort and hip design elements.
A bit pricey for its size, but quite a nice place overall.
I especially liked the tiny outdoor patio surrounded by glass in the lounge.

This is an elegant little boutique hotel in the heart of Marais, which is also very bustling gay neighborhood, filled with lots of clubs and bars. Location is literally in the middle of Paris, and it has good connections to everywhere in Paris.
The rates are quite pricey, while the standard rooms are quite small, but the rooms are nonetheless comfortable with good beds. Bathrooms are recently renovated and very clean. The decor is discreet and very unobtrusive, with muted brown colors.
The lobby looks nice and stylish, there is a bar and a breakfast area, plus a little smoking area. There is also fitness room and sauna, which is great. I'd recommend this hotel for short city breaks with friends or for couples.

This hotel mixes old and new and is located right near Hotel de Ville and Rue de Rivoli. I loved seeing the exposed wooden beams upon entering the lobby (and the rooms on the 1st floor) mixed with a trendy and modern décor. The lobby/lounge area is colored in tones of lime green and brown with black and white houndstooth chairs, ceramic vases and metal sculptures added to the mix. The trendy bar is open until midnight and there is a gym and sauna downstairs.
The rooms are decorated in neutral tones and feature dark wood furniture with a splash of color coming from the bed throws and cute framed pictures. The bathrooms are spotless and have hairdryers and toiletries provided. Ask for a brighter room on the 6th floor facing the street as it offers a view over the Parisian rooftops including the top of BHV which is just down the street.

Chic, trendy hotel in the heart of the Marais. Would give this one a higher rating if the room was not so microscopic. Literally just enough room for a bed. But you really can't complain with such a fabulous location. Choose this hotel for the address and spend your time in the city, not the room.
