Located in between of Ecole Militaire and Invalides on a grand avenue of Duquesne within a short walk from metro Ecole Militaire and Saint-Francois-Xavier. This is perfectly located for strolling in the Champs de Mars and visiting the Eiffel Tower.
The hotel is recently renovated and tastefully decorated with stylish colors without losing the charm of the old building, and they had left beams exposed, which gave a nice juxtaposition against all the new. There is a breakfast room in the cellar with nice brick walls that give a charming atmosphere to the space. The staff at front desk is very friendly and helpful.

This charming hotel is over 200 years old but apart from the cut stone walls and the exposed beams in the lobby the rest of the hotel feels brand new. In the lobby, Frank Sinatra songs float through the air while you sit in one of the light brown leather couches surrounded by orchids, pewter vases and plants. The rooms are fairly small but are elegant and bright and are individually named, which is cute.
The girl at the front desk was super nice and even managed to find the right power adapter for a demanding guest. Here’s the best part: step out of this hotel and you automatically see the Eiffel Tower ahead! Ask for a room facing the street (preferably 3rd floor or higher) and you also have a view of the tower that I couldn’t take my eyes off! Plus you’re a 5 minute walk away from École Militaire metro station and Rue Cler, where you can find all the French food you could desire.

Many romantics come to Paris with high hopes of a hotel room overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Though this is not a common experience, at the Hotel Duquesne Eiffel, it is entirely possible.
The newly-renovated hotel is within walking distance of several of Paris’ most famous attractions and situated in a lovely residential neighborhood. Though the lobby is quite simple, patrons of the hotel were raving about their rooms at the front desk as they waited for their shuttle to the airport. The bar and sitting areas are modern, but still fit with the building’s original charm.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel to first time travelers to Paris looking for that classic, hollywood experience.
