I had a great time at this boutique hotel in Venice Beach. The food was excellent, the rooms were very funky and cool, and the staff friendly. The location is a short walk to all the action, but remains far enough away to be very quiet.

Best mid-to-upper scale beach bar in Venice. A really cool hangout with great food and especially fun during evening hours. Go in the early evening and grab a place at the bar. Drinks are strong, the food is amazing and the bartenders are great people. You'll sometimes catch a celebrity or two in here, but they'll be hanging with the ...Popular withFoodiesLocalTrendsters

Hama is one of the best sushi joints on LA's west side. This is a great place, just off the beach, to get your fill of specialty rolls, sake bombs and edamame galore. Great staff and friendly vibe. Not so fancy, but very welcoming and comfortable.Popular withLocalFoodiesNightlife

I really like this place - it is a california twist on traditional chinese, with options to have brown rice instead of white, and lots of good vegetarian options. Prices are very reasonable. Its pretty casual - definitely not a date spot - but very tasty.Popular withVegetarianFoodiesBudget

My nephew and I stopped in here for a mid-afternoon brew happy hour special. We enjoyed sitting by the window and watching the Venetians walking by. It's a bit off the main drag, so it's not chaotic. The staff were very friendly. I'd like to come back some time for lunch or dinner. The room had a nice open feel, ...Popular withNightlifeFamiliesStudents

If you want the best sandwich EVER, you must have a "Mr. Electric" sandwich from Zelda's Corner. Get it with a side of garlic macaroni salad and mini donuts. You might just fire your mom!Popular withLocalBackpackersAdventure

The food and drinks at Danny's were pretty good, but the setting was very entertaining, especially during the World Cup. Excellent location just off the Venice Beach Boardwalk, and a nice air conditioned place to escape the heat and craziness on the street.

The food here is pho-nomenol! Great big bowls of pho that reminded us of Hanoi! Good prices and a friendly staff. Good enough we went back multiple times in a short trip to Venice. Byob, but you can buy it next door and bring it in.

Parking can be tough here.. three different seating options: the bar lounge, the sushi bar and the main restaurant. One side is the restaurant and the other is the bar area Happy Hour: from 5-7 on Monday it's from 5-9 with great food & drink specials!

This is my local bar. The bar is good. Their bartender Ed is the nicest guy I've ever met. The restaurant is horrible; the food and service are terrible and overpriced. However, I eat here often because it is convenient, and they don't have any competition on this area of the boardwalk... and it is the best spot for people ...

Cute but little wine bar with an amazing selection of cheeses, cured meats and even beer. I greatly appreciate the delicate balance of all four they offer! And walking distance to the beach. Be prepared to wait tho!Popular withOutdoorLocalFoodies

Love this place for the healthy food, cafeteria style! Parking may be difficult on weekends, so you may have to circle around the neighborhoods. There can be long lines during meal rush hours as well. Love the truffle mac and cheese and red quinoa. Love the watermelon and blueberry lemonades too.Popular withFoodiesVegetarianTrendsters

This place has yet to disappoint me. Every time, it's been excellent food! All of it! Vegetarians can eat here without question. The salads are alive with unique mixes, but my favorite was the smoked wild trout with grapefruit and avocado. As you're driving down Lincoln, passing through Venice, you might never notice this place. Wurstkuche storefronts remind me of a warehouse and their decor is somewhat industrial feeling. Turn onto Vernon Avenue to find street parking in the neighborhood, which is almost always available.
