This is a fairly new hostel in the Fremont neighborhood that is owned by the same couple that owns the city hostel downtown. It's kind of a mix between a hotel and hostel. There are both private rooms and dorm rooms. I really like this concept since it give's you the chance to have a private room with the atmosphere ...

Great newer stadium located downtown Minneapolis. Tickets for games are inexpensive and the location is great. There is plenty of parking in garages nearby and the bars nearby to go to afterwards are great.

The Cherry on the spoon is iconic to Uptown Minneapolis. The sculpture garden is right next to the museum and free. Lots of big sculptures and green grass that kids are sure to enjoy.

All along the Mississippi River is a pedestrian and bike friendly walkway. Access is only 1 block from the opera's rehearsal space. There is a playground at 4th and West River Parkway where a lot of kids gather at the end of the school day.

Of all the 4 chain of lakes, this, in my opinion, is the nicest to walk around. It is just under 3 miles, the houses are beautiful and the traffic is limited.

Walking paths and closer to downtown. I don't give it more than 3 stars because, although they are working on building up the neighborhood, it still isn't the safest place at night. Not the BEST place to take your kids, but ok.

The Twins are now gone from the Metrodome and only the Vikings and a roof that still needs repair is left. This stadium is also a good place for various high school and college teams to play, since it's indoors and Minnesota weather can be challenging. When the Twins were here, I wasn't very impressed with it as a Baseball ...

Never saw a basketball game for which the area is most famous for. But, I have seen quiet a few concerts here and it's a pretty good venue for that. I'm not a you guys, so being down on the floor doesn't have any appeal for me. The seats we've had are comfortable and the concessions are good enough. Probably ...

A nice space as far as convention centres go. The red stone exterior is attractive and the place is accessible and easy to navigate. I also found that convention staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. And the rest of downtown is only a short walk away.
