  • Hotel Indigo Rome - St. George

Hotel S.George is in a fabulous location, in a striking sixteenth-century street, and it is just a short walk from the main sites like trastevere, piazza navona, musei vaticani. All rooms have parquet and are well furnished. In fact in addition to standard services you can find a kettle for tea and coffe, an electric iron with ironing board, security sistem key kard and dock station for smartphones. There is a rooftop restaurant bar, opened from may to october, with a breath-taking panorama of Rome and its domes. Breakfast is included in the price and also wifi connection. All hotel guests can access to the spa with hot tub, sauna, turkish bath and gym. There is also an internet point, a meeting room and a laundry. Staff is helpful and corteous. There's no parking. It is a quiete good location. At night you can take a relaxing walk along the tevere river.

  • Hotel Indigo Rome - St. George

The rooms were nicely done and furnished, slightly small but still spacious. Bathrooms were also pretty big, very nice, and clean. The wifi acces was free and very strong. The hotel is located in via Giulia, a quite corner in the center of Rome; it's a short walk from San Pietro and Piazza Navona, and the Collosseum is reachable in about 25 minutes walking. I think that it's worth it! And you can walk easly also to great restaurants in the neighborhood.
Service at the rooftop lounge was prompt and attentive. I enjoy great hotels, but not necessarily the formality and attitude that so often comes with them. The St. George has a lot of class, all the amenities, friendly and welcoming, without being smothering or pretentious: it''s the kind of 4 stars hotel which I prefer. I would definitely stay here again!

  • Hotel Indigo Rome - St. George

The Hotel St. George is extremely modern and clean with an overall designy aesthetic based on hard lines. The suspiciously good-looking staff seemed to be entirely young men. (No problem there!) The huge restaurant is split up into lots of smaller groups of tables and nooks such that it feels more intimate. That said, the whole hotel is a little too formal for me to ever actually feel totally comfortable. Mine was the Junior Suite with the biggest bed I have ever seen and a pull-out couch, private terrace. I loved the green tea shampoo and the view. This place is cool in all senses of the word, from the neutral colors to the less-than-cozy feel. Clean in design as well as hygiene, it felt new new new.

  • Hotel Indigo Rome - St. George

An uber-posh hotel, the St. George is nothing much from the outside but once you step inside you are in a whole new world with nothing high street about it. I was in heaven soaking in the hydro-pool in the basement and sleeping in the bigger than king size beds. If I hadn't been eager to see Rome I would've taken the occasion for real lie-in. Was a bit weirded out by the rosary in the gift bag, but I guess it's the eternal city. I also loved the small terrace off my suite, and thought the service was very good, always ready to help but remaining professional and not too familiar.

This place is super expensive but fantastic and worth the money if you have it. The location is along the river, the rooms are small but beautiful and comfortable. They're walking distance to several piazzas and many restaurants. Very romantic place to stay.
