A visit at hotel Laimer Hof beams you back a few hundred years. The building itself is a gem of Renaissance architecture and the surroundings are so lush and green that you could easily replace the few cars driving around the area, with horse-drawn carriages. It takes a few minutes to walk to the next station of the Trambahn (Munich's above ground metroline),which brings you to the central station, Hauptbahnhof, from which you can easily get to the city center. But luckily there are also many sights within walking distance: Schloss Nymphenburg, the Botanic Garden, Germany’s biggest beer garden, the Royal Hirschgarten, the natural history museum “Museum Mensch und Natur”. Also take a stroll to look at the villas in the area, the real princess of Prussia is supposed to live in one right next to the hotel.Recommended for:

This hotel is a place to fall in love. Just a short walk away from Schloss Nymphenburg and the palace park, this small, family-run place is the perfect background for a wedding, honeymoon or just a romantic weekend. If you actually plan to get married at the castle you should book two years in advance, according to hotel manager Sebastian Rösch, who has leased the hotel for the last ten years. His father already was a hotelier and Sebastian grew up in different hotels all around the world. Now he has his own family who runs the hotel near the castle with a lot of heart. Since Sebastian was an exchange student in Wisconsin, his English is perfect and he will not only give you any possible information and advice you might need – he will also treat you as if you were king and queen.

Super friendly staff who all speak English. Fantastic breakfast spread included, and they ask for your coffee order - whatever you like. Just down the street from the Nymphenburg Palace, which is a few S-bahn stops (can also take the tram) away from central Munich. Rooms are a little small and crowded, but the beds are comfortable. Located in a quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay here.
