Now that’s more like it! While Paris is not known for its shortage of beautiful and luxurious hotels, many of these, while still prime choices, somewhat miss the mark, and end up veering towards gaudy. Le Bristol, however, does not fall victim to the nouveau-riche style gaffes, while still managing to be incredibly majestic and luxurious. In fact, if I were to dream of an ideal Parisian hotel experience, my dreams would probably be less elegant than the reality of the Bristol. From it’s beautiful garden, tasteful and elegant pool and spa, to it’s authentic looking 17th century décor, and particular attention to guests’ children, this is really the most perfect luxury Parisian experience of the moment. Apparently Condé Nast traveler agrees, because it just picked Le Bristol as its favorite European hotel.

I felt like a princess the moment I walked into this chandelier-filled hotel. It is a little overwhelming at first as everything in this hotel is absolutely stunning. From the staff that attends to your every request to the red carpet that leads you to bar, restaurant and lounge, you instantly feel like a V.I.P! The Jardin francais is my favorite part of the hotel with glass tables and chairs scattered throughout the immaculate inner garden, complete with shrubs, fountains and flowers. An ornately decorated dining room is also available to accommodate large parties for a special occasion that no one will forget.
Located on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré you are steps away from some of the most luxurious designer clothing and accessory stores. You are also right by the Elysée Palace, the official residence of the French President, you can’t get much more exclusive that that!

I am beyond obsessed with this hotel. I would move in if I could. The Bristol is perfect in every way and has the best service of anywhere I have ever been in my life. Everything is just as it should be at this sparkling, classic hotel and they definitely pay attention to the little details. From the crisp white sheets, to the Hermes soaps in the bathroom, to the marble jacuzzi bath tubs, to the incredible view from the sprawling terrace attached to the Suite Terrasse, it's hard for me to identify the one thing I love the most about this hotel, because I love absolutely everything about it. The exceptional cuisine offered at the formal restaurant will please the most discerning palettes, while the sandwiches and snacks served at the bar will make even the fussiest child a happy camper. Less flashy than some of the other great Paris hotels, the Bristol exudes elegance and joie de vivre, without any pretentiousness or vulgarity. I cannot say enough good things about this fabulous hotel.Recommended for:Family Travelers

It's a great hotel with lovely staff! The hotel looks gorgeous, both outside and inside. It's filled with antique furniture, ornate flower arrangements, and other beautiful details. There is also a nice courtyard that is so calm and pretty that you forget that you are in the middle of a big city. The pool in the 6th floor is amazing with great view over Paris. For foodies there is triple Michelin starred restaurant Epicure, which is an institution itself already.
Location is not a problem either; here you are situated very centrally in a fancy Rue St.-Honoré that is filled with the most luxurious designer boutiques.
Le Bristol is expensive, but great place for a romantic, special occasion to enjoy Paris. Here you'll truly feel like a princess.
