A boutique hotel located along the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (BQE), Hotel Le Jolie is in an ideal location for exploring Brooklyn's most well-known up-and-coming neighborhood. It's not far from McCarren Park Pool, which is a humongous public swimming pool in the summer and hosts movie screenings and concerts during the rest of the year. It's a decent boutique hotel, with luxurious 300-thread-count Egyptian cotton linens and marbled bathrooms. The rooms are on the small side, but they do the trick. Free Wifi is available in the rooms, and a complimentary continental breakfast is provided every morning. Be sure to get a room that is not facing the BQE, though, because morning traffic and construction may disturb your beauty sleep. The windows are double-paned, so the noise is minimized, and the hotel does provide earplugs, though, in case you are sensitive to noise pollution. The hotel is fairly new, so they are still working on some amenities. When I visited recently, I was told that they are building a fitness center in the basement, and that it should be ready in a few months.

I stayed here for a week while prepping to shoot the travel TV show I did called Young, Broke, and Beautiful. It was during a serious snow storm and I was having a bit of the DTs so my sleep patterns were weird and I was even weirder. That said the staff were really accommodating and handled my bouts of 4am madness with ease. It's incredibly centrally located for Williamsburg, and it's nicely appointed.Recommended for:Budget Travelers

Staying in Williamsburg is a great alternative, if not better, than staying in Manhattan. Hotel Le Jolie is located right off the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (BQE) and for those who don't mind the drone of passing traffic, rooms facing the highway offer a greater discount. King-sized rooms on the first floor are quiet, as they're on the interior, but also have less space due to the larger sized beds; queen sized beds remain on upper levels. A free continental breakfast (or brunch, depending on when you choose to dine) is served every morning and free wifi is always available. Every room has a flat-screen TV. Some parking spots are also available in front. Just blocks from Williamsburg hotspots like Bagelsmith (24-hour fresh bagels and more!), Metropolitan Bar, Alligator Lounge (free pizza with every drink!) and many, many more. You can also walk towards trendy Bedford Ave or Greenpoint. Located minutes from the L and G trains, you can get practically anywhere from here. Free city maps at the front desk are available to help you find your way or circle and route local recommendations from the hotel staff.

I like a place that serves breakfast during times I might actually be awake. Hotel Le Jolie, located in the trendy neighborhood of Williamsburg, offer complimentary breakfast from 7 to 11am. There's boiled eggs, cereal, pastries and juices to choose from.
The rooms are simple but clean and fairly modern (they are in the works renovating some bathrooms to include flat showerheads) and offer basic amenities like a coffee and tea maker, flat-screen TV with channels, plenty of towels in the bathroom, toiletries, hair dryer and an iron. There is also wifi access throughout the building, you'll just have to get a code.
While they don't have a restaurant in their hotel the staff do recommend a nearby family-owned restaurant, Bamonte's, to their guests. The staff is ready to provide any suggestions and maps so that you can be better prepared to explore more of Brooklyn.
This 2.5 star property has a complimentary 24-hour business center. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the building. A complimentary continental breakfast is served daily. Room service is available during limited hours, and guest parking is complimentary. Additional property amenities include a concierge desk, multilingual staff, airport arrangements, handicap-accessible facilities, and express check-in. This is a smoke free property.
Rooms are furnished with iPod docking stations, refrigerators, coffee/tea makers, and minibars. Beds come with premium bedding, and bathrooms feature shower/tub combinations, designer toiletries, slippers, and hair dryer. In addition to complimentary weekday newspapers, guestrooms offer multi line phones with voice mail and free local calls. 42-inch televisions have pay movies. Air conditioned rooms also include desks, complimentary bottled water, blackout drapes/curtains, iron/board, and electronic check out. Guests may request a turndown service, hypo allergenic bedding, and extra towels/bedding. Cribs (infant beds) and rollaway beds are available on request. Guestrooms are all non smoking.
