Hotel Lindrum

The enchanting nature of the Lindrum’s decor cannot be overstated. Winner of the AHA Victoria Boutique Style Accommodation of the Year (in 2010), the heritage-listed building feels at once Victorian and modern. It has been a 19th century tea and coffee manufacturer, a newspaper office and a billiards hall – think of the charm of all of these locations rolled ...

This is a gloriously vibrant and diverse place to take an afternoon stroll. If you are on a budget, this coincidentally is the place to come for cheap meat and produce. It is also ideal if you are feeling a little sheepish after a rambunctious night out! Often, there is a focus on different cultures so you have a chance ...

Great place specially if you have kids. Had the chance to see 2 baby penguins which didn't have feathers yet. They also had guided tours and activities you can top up over the main entrance fee to get really close with the animals there.

Well firstly, the photo above is not actually of Melbourne Central, that is a view from Flinders St. Station across to St. Paul's Cathedral on Swanston St. Melbourne Central is a few blocks away and it's a pretty good shopping centre, centrally located with lots to do. For retail, this part of the city together with neighbouring Bourke and Lonsdale ...

You can't find a more iconic sporting ground in Australia than the MCG. In a sports mad country this is the shine where legends are forged. Whether you come to watch Cricket and struggle to stay awake or to watch Aussie Rules Football and struggle to understand the game you'll definitely be entertained.

It has some famous grape growing regions outside the city in the upper Yarra River valley, producing some nice Red wines. In the city, it is the large iconic symbol of this vibrant city,

The Melbourne Museum should really be called 'Melbourne's Natural History Museum'. It succeeds reasonably well at being full of taxidermied Australian animals and architecturally interesting - not something you can say about a lot of museums. Beyond this, there isn't much there. If you're come from abroad, leave this museum for the locals. There's no reason to travel across two ...
