This hotel was a really pleasant surprise. Even though the hotel is not that close to the Colosseum, Vatican and other main attractions, it is close to the Spanish Steps, Fontana di Trevi and the Termini train station.
Since in Rome nothing is actually that far apart you can easily walk your way around without getting a train, so the location here is not a problem, specially if you want to enjoy a side of the town that is not that busy.
The service is really good and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They offer complimentary internet and breakfast. Their breakfast by the way is amazing. No bacon, eggs and sausage... they have the real european deal, a lot of pastries, hams, cheese, breads and other goodies.

The hotel was not what we were expecting for a 4 stars hotel seen at their website. The rooms were clean and very spacious, however the decor a bit old-fashioned, the matrimonial bed was huge. The staff was friendly and we got everything we asked for. The location is very interesting, and as mentioned in their website is indeed at a quiet part of town (which is pleasent after being at crowded places all day long). It’s near Porta Pia, and relatively close to Termini railway station, Palazzo del Quirinale or Via Veneto. There are a lot of places to see in a walking distance, and also a lot of tasty restaurants. The only thing they really should improve is the breakfast, which is included in room rate. Free wifi access.Recommended for:

The location of this hotel is extremely off putting, and it is in the middle of nothing. Took me forever to find it on foot. Not sure why people think it is close to the Spanish Steps because it isn't. It is about a 15-20 min stroll from Termini. The hotel itself is lovely, well maintained and modern, but it is a hassle to get to via public transport. Take a cab if you are coming from the airport. The area, though, is quiet, and if you want some isolation from the hustle and bustle of the city, I'd recommend staying here. The staff need some training in dealing with non-Italians. I found them difficult and unhelpful.Recommended for:
