Very distinctive! Hotel Mina is one of the hundreds of hotels that populate the area and yet they manage to distinguish themselves with a string of pluses they boast. First of all, the view from their top floor restaurant, that overlooks the Golden Horn, Marmara and the Blue Mosque is amazing. The service does not falter, either. It is one of the places that you can take your guests for a business dinner even if you are not staying in Mina Hotel.
The rooms are decent with good decoration, dominant darker tones give an overall feeling of luxury and being established. The facilities include massage and sauna, very convenient extras considering the cost of time and opportunity you’d be spending at public baths. The staff make you feel very special, they are very genial and they love their job.
Finally, Hotel Mina’s location is another wow factor – the building is situated on a large street that opens to a crossroads but they are away from the daily traffic that characterizes the streets of Istanbul. It is quite a serene corner of Sultanahmet.Recommended for:

This place must have the best view in Istanbul. The terrace restaurant and the breakfast room on the floor below have a panoramic view of the Blue Mosque and the expanse of glittering blue sea. Amazing! The hotel itself is smart and tasteful and the staff members are all very friendly indeed. The rooms are nicely decorated; simple but tasteful and with a flavour of the area. There’s also a sauna and massage facilities but these come at an extra cost. The location is excellent as it’s close to all the sights such as the Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar but somehow it’s in a really quite corner that feels like an escape the after a day of sightseeing on Istanbul’s busy, busy streets.Recommended for:

Great central hotel for the female solo traveler. Conveniently located in Sultanahmet, it's only minutes away from Sultanahmet Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. That allows for easy city exploring, while also being comfortable with the location. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, and they have an amazing rooftop terrace with unbeatable city views, overlooking Bosphorus and the Blue Mosque. The food is good and reasonably priced. The concierge service is good as well, I would just avoid booking tours through the hotel, as they are much more expensive. Everything is within reach on your own, and several times cheaper.Recommended for:
