It’s always shocking to find large sprawling traditional Japanese gardens in central Tokyo, so prepared to be shocked. The gorgeous garden is one of many features that this gargantuan hotels features. Other features include, but not limited to, a pool, a spa, tennis courts, an art museum, and a seemingly endless array of both restaurants and luxury shops. There are also a mind boggling variety of various rooms to choose from that come in all sorts of shapes sizes and décor. Virtually everything about this hotel screams elegant classy luxury and the view from almost any window inside is guaranteed to be gorgeous.
The only real problem with this hotel is that it’s just a little bit too easy to get lost. The inside itself is maze of seemingly endless corridors. Unfortunately this could probably be solved by hiring more staff to assist visitors. It does seem like a rather odd choice that a giant hotel that prides itself on a sort of zen like luxury would make an oversight like that.

This hotel has a long history and a large Japanese garden. "The Main" has modern, recently updated, but more expensive rooms, while the "Garden Tower" has rooms you can get a deal on. There are pools, and gyms, three tennis courts, and twelve restaurants, but like most Japanese hotels, only wifi in public areas and a LAN cable in the rooms. The Hotel New Otani Tokyo is massive, and it caters to an international crowd, so have a look at the pictures, it's like that. I was laughing at some of the Vegas like touches i.e. a see-through self-playing grand piano, but my traveling companion was all about going to Trader Vic's to visit "Burger Island." So there's no accounting for taste. The rooms are quiet, there's normally priced food in Akasaka near by, and it's just a five minute walk to the subway (Akasaka Mitsuke Station) and 10 minutes to JR (Yotsuya Station). Lots of people get married here; just like Vegas.

Great full service hotel near to the restaurants and bars of Asakusa. For business trips to Tokyo it can be recommended and service is flawless.

    This is a huge hotel!
They have everything you can imagine, shops, restaurants, a spa and and several gyms. Some of the gyms in the main are so small you're likely to be the only in there working out.

They have expensive rooms and they have reasonable rooms too.

Also people in this hotel are really helpful, when i asked for direction for exit, they gave to me maps which is map for hotel and for outside.

I don't think you'll get bored in this hotel. Just walking inside of hotel and look to hotel was fun for me!!

One thing, though. If you need to use J.R. It's a ten minute walk, but if you're staying in the main, it might be another ten minutes to get to your room. If you're just here for sightseeing it might not matter, but if you have to make it to appointments, It could be a twenty minute walk to the station if you're not careful.
