28. Hotel North Beach is a budget-friendly hotel in the heart of the North Beach district, close to the border of Chinatown, and the Financial District. You are immediately taken back into time when you walk into the lobby, like walking into an old film. On one side historical documents, photos, and books line the shelves, on the other is a beautifully carved love seat. The front desk staff member is courteous. They offer rooms with shared bathrooms only, so if you mind sharing a bathroom, then this might not be the place for you. Rooms are small, simple/minimal, but clean and well maintained. Décor is modern. Each room has a small television and sink, and some rooms have mini-fridges and microwaves. The shared bathrooms down the hall look clean and also updated. Coin op laundry is available in the building. This is a great location for doing the typical San Francisco touristy things, and for those who want to extend their stay, they offer weekly – monthly rentals.Recommended for:History Buffs
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available. On-site laundry is available as well as a 24 hour concierge, and business (copy/fax) services. Room leases are also available for weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, and monthly extended stays.
Hotel North Beach has 150 guestrooms with shared bathrooms. Each guestroom has an in-room sink, television, iron/ironing board and direct dial telephone/voicemail. Mini-fridges and microwaves are available in some rooms. Rollaway beds are available upon request.
