Hotel Omm is in my favorite part of the city, right off Paseo de Gracia! The hotel is sleek and modern, with a lively bar, and very comfortable rooms. The hallways to get to the rooms are very dark (with glowing stars) which adds some fun to the stay!

Considered one of the trendiest hotels in Barcelona, the Hotel Omm lobby lounge is a cozy hotspot for drinks as it is perfectly situated, close to Passeig de Gracia and Plaza Catalunya and offers everything you would want from a night out; haute nouvelle cuisine restaurant with Spanish wines and an underground club featuring house djs as well as some live music events. Rooms have very unconventional spaces, but they’re comfortable and hi-tech although not very sound proof. There’s a nice rooftop terrace with a rather small swimming pool overlooking the city. Service is effective but could be friendlier considering it’s a four star hotel.

This modern hotel hosts some of the trendiest events in Barcelona. Join Barcelona’s hip crowd in the hotel’s nightclub and listen to the latest live DJ sets while sipping on a cocktail. You can also enjoy a dip in the pool or get a massage at the spa that offers a variety of therapies. The rooms are spacious and luminous and have nice views. On a whole, the hotel has a peaceful vibe. The design features a “white minimalist” décor, which can come off as a little cold and clinical for some, but it definitely qualifies the hotel as modern and sleek. I would say Hotel Omm is a youthful and trendy hotel with plenty of wonderful selling points.Recommended for:

Once I understood the Yin-Yang theme in which the hotel was originally designed, the low ceilings and dark hallways made a bit more sense and for some reason I felt less claustrophobic. Even if you get an exterior room overlooking the street, the soundproof walls on each floor makes it almost impossible to hear what’s going on next door, so it’s still relatively quiet. For views of Casa Mila (La Pedrera) from your private balcony, ask to stay in either rooms 501 or 601 and if you want to experience the ‘waterfall’ shower, ask for one of the Junior Suites. In the evenings check out the well-known club, Ommsession, in the hotel basement. This is home to Barcelona’s chic and elegant crowd, but be aware that in August the club is closed. And definitely stop in to buy or browse at the Manolo Blahnik store in the hotel lobby…just because you can!
