Who would think that after ringing the bell of this huge old building, opening the huge, heavy door onto the landing, taking the old metal lift and reaching the 2nd floor, you would find a glass door and a welcoming Signora Alberta. She is the very proud owner of this tiny hotel who can’t do more to help in every way. She serves a continental breakfast in the room with your choice of hot drink and the greatest care towards her guests! lovely! There is also a kettle in the room which is very unusual in Italy and a small fridge, TV and WIFI. There is one room with a balcony overlooking via Cavour which is noisy if you open the doors but there is AC so no need to open. The big bonus is the location, just a few yards from the Colosseum, Forum, City Centre and Cavour Metro station and busses to get to Termini for all airport connections.Recommended for:

Paba hotel is well located, 15 minutes away from Termini station and 5 minutes away from Colosseo. It's possible to move around the city just walking to see the magnificence of Rome. It has only 7 rooms but all equipped with every comfort. They are spacious, clean, warm and with oversize beds. Breakfast is served directly in your room becouse the hotel has not a restaurant or a dining room, but just rooms and reception. Staff is very friendly and corteous. The only thing not included is the wifi connection but you can have it for two euros if you need it. The elevator is a little bit small but it is typical for almost all the buildings in Rome.Recommended for:

A nice little hotel in a great location close to the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. There are two metro stations to gain access to all that Rome has to offer within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms are clean, and the bed was huge. Madame Alberta, the owner, works seven days a week because she takes pride in her hotel. She personally delivers breakfast (that is always fresh) to your room and makes sure that everything is to your delight. She is completely familiar with Rome and gives great advice about local treasures that may not be in your guidebook or are in the book, but not so interesting. She speaks six languages so no matter where you are from, Madame can help you.
If you're looking for fancy, this isn't it, but if you want an authentic experience, this is a great value.Recommended for:

Not a bad place, although via Cavour is super noisy. The proprietress of the hotel is a delight, very kind and helpful. The rooms are nicely furnished. The area for me wasn't the best, but the hotel is close to the Cavour metro stop and not far from via Urbana, the Colosseum and the Forum. I thought the rates were a bit high given the location but for those who are new to Rome, you will sure find the tips of the owner useful and helpful.Recommended for:

This small hotel has a handful of rooms and is run by a lovely lady who will help you with directions and tips for exploring Rome. The hotel is around the corner from the Coliseum and could not be in a better location. The price ranges from 70 euros for a double to 260 euros for a small suite. The price is reasonable for the location. You can walk to many of the sights such as the Coliseum, Forum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and so on. Breakfast is provided in your room and the air conditioning is lovely. I highly recommend this hotel.Recommended for:
