Located in a quiet street in the mostly residential 16th arrondissement, the Hotel Sezz is also quite close to primary Parisian tourist destinations like the Eiffel Tower, Trocadero, and several museums.
The stunning hausmanian building has been entirely refurbished in a modern style with sleek wood paneling and glass detail. The rooms also feel very modern and the hotel offers a top-of-the-line spa.
Though the place was fun and unexpected for the neighborhood, it did feel slightly extravagant to me.
The hotel is definitely looking to attract a young, trendy crowd, and may be misleading because of the price range and neighborhood. For those looking for something more classically elegant would probably be better off looking elsewhere in the neighborhood.Recommended for:

What can I say about this hotel? It’s gorgeous! It is located in a beautiful old Hausmann building but inside the style is contemporary and artistic. You walk in the doors and an LCD screen displays a burning fire, which instantly makes you feel welcome. The lobby is pretty cool with a unique designer chandelier, a shag rug and pieces of modern furniture. There is equally a spa and a bar (La Grande Dame) that can be privatized for events. Rooms are similarly designed and some have beautiful views of the Eiffel Tower. Breakfast is available in the bar downstairs or in your room.
I’m not a huge fan of the 16th arrondissement as I find it a little too calm and residential but due to this, noise shouldn’t be a problem. Plus the Eiffel Tower is just a short walk across the Seine.Recommended for:

This hotel is one of the nicest ones in Paris. Its location is great on a quiet, little street in the 16th arrondissement, very close to Passy metro station. The 16th arrondissement is very bourgeoisie, but there are great bars and restaurant in the Passy area, as well as lots of shopping at Rue de Passy.
The views from the upper floors overlooking the Eiffel tower are stunning. They have opted for the open glass bathroom, which is ok, as the toilet is still behind a closed door. They have made a full effort with the modern design and luxurious textures - everything looks spotless and new. This is a perfect hotel for demanding business traveller as well as for couples looking for some extra pampering in a luxurious setting.Recommended for:

This hotel is most notable for its design but the service at this property is also quite good. Upon arrival, I was offered a glass of champagne and a very personalized and relaxed check in at the hotel cafe / restaurant. Room service and other staff are quick and genuinely friendly. However, given the small number of people on staff there is the potential for slow downs when demand is high.
Rooms are high on design. Styling is a mix of Japanese modern and contemporary European. Rooms are well equipped with technology -- free in-room wireless, wireless phone with direct dial line, i-pod docking station, and DVD player.
