This place is absolutely fine if you want to be in the centre of the city and as close to the Trevi fountain as possible, but it’s a little chaotic and disjointed. There seems to be a great deal of confusion and even though the staff try their best, you usually have to wait to speak to someone. Some features need a bit of attention, it obviously gets a lot of use, but its nice to be in the very heart of RomeRecommended for:

You can't beat the location of this small hotel, and you certainly don't need a fancy room or tons of space when you want to be out and about enjoying Italy and Rome, that's for sure! The rooms are adequate, and the price is right! For such a location, you might expect a price that is through the roof. Get up early if you can, at dawn, and head to the fountain before the throngs of tourists invade it. You'll be glad you did!Recommended for:

You cant really beat the location… it is literally yards from the Trevi fountain which means that the area is totally crazy during the day, but it’s magical if you step in the piazza in the middle of night or first thing in the morning - an unbelievable experience. Of course being there means you are walking distance to all the most beautiful sites of Rome. The hotel is in various buildings and a bit higgledy piggledy but characteristic since they are old buildings - the price reflects the location more than the hotel… not everything works perfectly and breakfast is limited and there is not much space - the website makes it look a lot grander than it actually is. Also it’s very busy so it can take a while to sort things out at reception so can be somewhat annoying when you want to get out and get going!Recommended for:

This property was perfection in Italy - just enough room, perfectly functioning air conditioning, when we walked out the room and around the corner, we were at the Trevi Fountain! If you get a chance, wake up before sunrise and head down there. The fountain, of course, is always running, but the crowd of people is nowhere to be seen. It was me, some pigeons and one carabinieri. Loved it. Best pics of my trip (2nd one to visit the fountain and I threw coins in for a third).
