This is one of my favorite places to stay in Dallas. The hotel itself is quite small, and the rooms are a lot of fun. The balcony rooms over the pool are great on the weekends, as long as you don't mind the noise. The spa is nice, and I enjoy the old-school candies they provide during the turn down ...

The bustling Capital Grille manages to strike a unique balance of upscale dining and unpretentiousness. I sat in the main dining room with colleagues for a fabulous business dinner, and have had a boisterously fun time at the bar with friends. It’s definitely worth the experience--and the Crescent Court setting doesn’t hurt one bit.Popular withNightlifeBusinessLuxury

Located in the fabulous Crescent Court, Palomino is one of my absolute favorite dining destinations in town. The have a 24/7 happy hour menu, there are TVs in the bar area, and the setting is perfect for meeting friends and just having a casual social gathering. I've lost count of the times I've congregated here, but it never gets old. ...Popular withLocalFoodiesBudget

Interesting place. The waitstaff was not the kindest I've had the pleasure of dining with, however they weren't too bad considering we had a large group. The food was pretty good... Spaghetti pizza was delicious. If probably try other places for good, however the drinks were good.

Perry’s is another favorite that balances elegance and service with unpretentiousness. I’ve met friends there for happy hour in the lively bar. And while the patio is modest, it’s right on McKinney Avenue in Uptown which affords some pretty good luxury car spotting opportunities. When you visit try the symphony kabob and Perry's famous pork chop.

Traditional Steakhouse. I think Capital Grill is better. Mortons is very popular. Reservations recommended. Walkable to 2618 Thomas Ave.

#BeStuffed This 1927 schoolhouse-turned-dining hot spot opened late last year to great fanfare, having snagged the former chef from Abacus (another top restaurant in Dallas). The patio is beautiful, and the prices are very reasonable. BrokeGirlsGuide.comPopular withFoodiesLocalBusiness
