This is one of my favorite places to stay in Dallas. The hotel itself is quite small, and the rooms are a lot of fun. The balcony rooms over the pool are great on the weekends, as long as you don't mind the noise. The spa is nice, and I enjoy the old-school candies they provide during the turn down service.

When you think of uptown as an attitude or a lifestyle, then this hotel is the epitome of that. It's hip in a serious way, trendy without being kitschy, and ornate without being gaudy. It's pretty much the type of place where you drive up, drop off your car, and forget about the rest. Then it's just time to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.
One could argue that it is a bit pretentious, but there's a reason people demand a certain kind of quality. And this place delivers on that. It's not a place for families with young children or people who are budget-conscious. But it is for people who want to see and be seen, rub elbows with the occasional celebrity, and life the uptown lifestyle in all its glory.Recommended for:

Uptown is one of the liveliest neighborhoods in Dallas to begin with, and Hotel ZaZa definitely maintains the cool factor as one of the trendiest spots in town. Even locals party at the Urban Oasis outside of Dragonfly restaurant once night falls. The music pulsates and the scene is alive with the see-and-be-seen set. Inside, the hotel itself is awash with pop art and photography, oversized and dramatic seating, and mood lighting. Come to find out, much of the interior decorating was done in part by the CEO of Z Hotels, Benji Homsey. The standard guest rooms are spacious and well-maintained. And the rooms that have balconies overlooking the pool have the added bonus of soundproof glass for when it’s time for your party to end. But the regular rooms aren’t ZaZa’s biggest draw. Everyone knows the property for their concept suites and Magnificent Seven guestrooms, totally decked out in themes ranging from Rock Star luxe to Zen to African safari. Opening the door to these spaces is like being transported to another realm and ZaZa’s party atmosphere does nothing but encourage the revelry.Recommended for:
