This is a new locale uptown, so it's easy to hop along other nearby venues. There's a large outdoor seating area, which is nice on a cool night. The scallops and sea bass are surprisingly good, considering you'd think steak over seafood in Dallas! The calamari and buffalo wings are tasty too. They've just opened, and it was a pretty good experience despite there being a few minor kinks needing to be worked out (but let's be real, most openings work that way). The welcome drink on day 2 was a Bella Sera (Beautiful Evening, in Italian); it was Prosecco with, what, I can't remember...but it was good! There was live music by a singer/guitarist/violinist who drove a flashy sports car. A Dos Equis crew came in gypsy garb, passing out cards for surprise cocktails -- and if you drew a particular card, you got face time with a fortune teller. Kind of a fun vibe, no?
