Stunning budget conscious hotel a 5 minute walk from Old Street Station. Upon walking in the first thing that dawned on me, is that this is not your average hotel. The café and restaurant was packed with midday patrons having meetings and socialising. While waiting to be shown around the property I took the opportunity to check out some of the individuality that the Hoxton has that leaves a lasting impression on their guests. From an up-cycled antique mail box used to collect room keys, Shoreditch pocket guides available in all the rooms (as well as fresh milk every day for coffee) and massive modern art, to the wall mounted iPads (steam punk styled) that display the events happening in the hotel in the weeks to come, leave the Hoxton with a very individual footprint.

The pleasant staff were incredibly knowledgeable providing guests advice on where to find transport links and sights they would want to see on their adventures around London.

The rooms (with views of the Shard) are in the process of being renovated at the moment. Upon entering the room I was confused why they would be updating such already fabulous rooms (all of the photos I've uploaded are of the old room style), and had left me wondering how luxurious the new rooms will be. I seriously look forward to finding an excuse to stay here in the future.

Pretty bloody cool hotel. Hip and trendy (i say that at the risk of sounding neither). A few years ago no one would venture in to Hoxton but it is now quite the place to be' The area is filled with bars and pubs that this hotel fits right in with its modern look and feel. Perfect for the younger crowd not to say that its loud and wild - its very relaxing. If you can, try to get the sale price - sign up for their emails, and you will hear about their 1 pound sales - great for snagging a bargain price for a cool hotel for the night.

I love this place. It's a super hip restaurant, right in the middle of Hoxton. It's a bit different, but still has all the perks of a good international hotel chain. And the price point is great. Best place to stay in London.
