Play some Frisbee, fly a kite, splash in the waves, or play some beach volleyball at this Orange County landmark. This is the site of the U.S. Open and a hotbed for style, fun, and relaxation. Located about 20 minutes from Disneyland, visitors can spend a day here and really soak in the rays and the true essence of what it’s like to live in Orange County.

Surf City USA! Where it all began! Relive the spirit of the Beach Boys, watch the surfers ride the waves, visit the surf shops, buy from your favorite brands. Shops, restaurants along Main Street and Coast Highway.
Bicycle, walk or jog along the Boardwalk lined by stately palms. A part of any California experience.

There is always something going on!
The weekends here are glorious.
The pier itself is full of fishermen and families.
At the end of the pier is a Ruby's Diner so it is a very popular spot.
Opposite the pier is Main St and that is full of restaurants and bars for every taste level.
Also the shopping is pretty good.Recommended for:

Popularly known as "Surf City USA", Huntington Beach is one of the stops on the US Open of Pro Surfing and PSA, NASSA, CSA surfing contests, X-Games and Core Tour, AVP Pro Beach Volleyball, plus it's home to the Shoreline Marathon, 4th of July beach fireworks and parade, and many other great events. Day or night, the HB Pier is a treat to walk on. At the front there is Duke's of Huntington Beach. At the back there is a seafood restaurant, and in the middle many memories made. One of my favorite spots in OC.

This is the only pier I know that has a franchise restaurant at the end of the pier. It's quite a walk for a burger. This pier has great views of surfers in the water and their clean beach. This is one of the cleanest beaches I've ever been and I'm from San Diego!

A great place to meet up with friends before an exciting night out on the town! If you're planning on not wearing anything other than a bathing suit you will quickly realize that you fit right in. I really like watching all of the surfers from the pier and then dining at Ruby's.

In the four years I lived in Orange County, I never tired of the sunsets i watched from the Pier or driving by it on PCH. Known to many as surf city, it is also a great place to see some of the crazy boarders roughing out the waves so close to the pier, it makes your heart skip a beat!

You can get some pretty great views of the coastline as you stroll up and down the pier. At the end of the pier is a Ruby's Diner with ocean views. It gets pretty crowded. There are a couple souvenir stands and lots of people fishing off the pier.
