I was stunned by the gorgeous skyline views at the Hyatt Harborside. The lobby, which houses an attractive lounge and dining area, is framed by enormous glass windows that make you feel as if you are sitting outside at the edge of the harbor. And if the weather's good, you can actually relax and dine outside on the adjacent patio. There aren't a lot of hotels around Boston with nice outdoor space, so I really thought this was a gem. The rooms, too, come with views, and are immaculately clean. The decor is simple, but very modern, and looks as though it's been updated quite recently. I found the whole building to be very well designed. I also think the water taxi offering is not only convenient, but fun!Recommended for:

Beautiful hotel at Boston's Logan Airport, you ask? Indeed. Have stayed many times at the end of my San Francisco to Cape Cod (family) jaunts, and have never been disappointed. The views of the 'city' skyline from your fairly large room, and very large picture window across the beautiful harbor, is just magnificent....day or night. And, if you are staring at those twinkling city lights and feel a wild urge to swim over to the North End for nice plate of something Italian, leave your fins at your very comfortable bedside, because, right outside the back door of this hotel is the cute, fun, inexpensive Water Taxi! Yup.
Zippety Zip right across the harbor. And, when you want to return to this comfy, warm room (I was there at Christmastime), you pick up the phone on the little pier where they dropped you, and Zippety Zip, they come getcha....quickly. And, let's talk about the pool and the lounge chairs that in the summertime you can drag outdoors to the lawn, where you will also have the Harborside Grill and Patio (yes, the chef supports the local farmers), to sip a cocktail and nosh on something delectable from the kitchen. And this lovely patio dining venue is just beautiful in the evening with the glimmering lights across the equally glimmering harbor. And, when you are ready to fly home, their shuttle bus is always just outside the door - 5 minutes from the terminal.
Will this be my go-to hotel in Boston? Forever. Just do it.
