Hyatt Regency Boston

One Avenue de Lafayette, Boston, MA 02111
7 reviews

The Hyatt is clean, affordable and friendly, but anything but luxurious. I will note that it's within reasonable walking distance to almost everything, with the exception of the North Side.

I came here for lunch during Restaurant Week. The mussels were fantastic, the steak frites were very good, and the brownie sundae was just ok. It's a very large space and I loved the overall feel of the place.

    Taiwan Cafe

0.17 mi from Hyatt Regency Boston

Small hole-in-the-wall sort of a restaurant down a side street in Chinatown. The menu is huge and features pretty much everything imaginable. I'd recommend the oyster pancake or pork chop over rice. It's all bathed in oil but incredibly tasty.

This is a spot to know about. A discrete store front in Chinatown, you do not know what you have discovered until the menu comes and you want one of each.

A great cafe that features stumptown coffee, along with plenty of pastries, cupcakes, salads and sandwiches. The jittery hen is a nice choice. Basically, it's a chicken sandwich, but marinated in coffee and a tangy sauce. The space is beautiful, featuring an old time lounge theme. There are leather chairs and benches, along with tables covered in old newspapers.

    Pho Pasteur Restaurant

0.19 mi from Hyatt Regency Boston
    3 reviews

I love this spot. It's my must-go whenever I'm feeling the effects of the cold weather. Nothing warns you up quite like a bowl of soup and the soup here is beyond compare. Pho Pasteur is a Boston staple and has been recognized time and time again for some of the tastiest noodle soup around.

    Great Taste Bakery & Restaurant

This place is far, far, better than the other pastry shop down the street and although their prices are a bit more expensive, ALL the egg tarts here are delicious no matter what kind of you get! They have authentic Chinese / Asian cakes of all sorts and every pastry comes tasting fresh, flaky and flavorful; just how I recall ...

    Radius

Radius is a great restaurant in Boston, one of my favorites, in fact. I love the decor of the restaurant - it feels intimate but sleek and modern in its decor. The food I had here was amazing - everyone at my table was quite pleased with their dishes. The presentation of each dish is impeccable and the service there ...

Since I'm from Germany, I had to try this german restaurant. The menu offers all of the typical things you can eat in Germany like Schnitzel, Sauerkraut, Bretzel etc. I wasn't that satisfied after I had Schnitzel with Spaetzle, but that's probably because I'm german. So: if you want to taste the real version go to Germany ;) otherwise, this ...

Their dumplings here are excellent, but don't expect ANY service at all here. Food wise, they serve a lot more than just dumplings, you can find many variety of eateries from casual snacking (xiao long bao) to a full blown meal Chinese meal with a Taiwanese twist. We got the pork and leek steamed dumplings and Taiwanese pan fried dumplings, ...

I had an extremely enjoyable lunch experience here at Shabu-Zen and I again wish that shabu places in the bay area were more like this. It was pretty cheap and the broth they offer, the lunch specials, the sides and the meat was all in abundance. The service was prompt, clean, and very friendly. We were immediately seated and offered ...

    Hot Pot Buffet

0.19 mi from Hyatt Regency Boston

Value above all else! There is nothing that can satisfy a hotpot craving on a cold winter day more than this $20/per person hotpot buffet. The selection of meat, seafood, veggies, and miscellaneous other foods is incredible. The broths are very savory and good enough to drink after a meal. The quality can't be compared to Kaze and Shabu around ...

One goes to 'Ritas for the cheap eats and tasty margs. It's as simple as that. The food is definitely nothing to write home about, but you get what you pay for. The place is super casual and really fun for after-work drinks and snacks. It's the kind of place where you can get loud and rowdy with your friends ...

Good food and nothing fancy, just as you would expect from its humble name. The fries though are not worth ordering! They're overcooked and lacked flavor. The burgers however were tasty, yet there are better burgers to be found in Boston. Luckily pricing is good and the location is convenient. Atmosphere and service are also good, but again, nothing special.

For some AMAZing quality meat (lamb, beef, short ribs) - Kaze Shabu Shabu is the place to be, hands down the best Shabu place in the Boston area.
