This looks like the UN building in New York and it is stocked to the teeth with luxury starting from the grand space of the lobby, to the unbelievably beautiful Moroccan design of the tea / cafe lounge area and restaurant. There’s also another restaurant serving French cuisine which feels more business like with slicker modern design. There is a warm feeling in the hallways and room, unusual for hotels of this high star rating and physical size, which puts me in the right mood to appreciate the rooms comfort and large size and simple elegance. The separate toilet and bath is an pleasant quirk as well. The super duper plus is that the hotel is just across the street from the wildest open dirt road bazaar ever! making me want to live in this hotel all year round!Recommended for:

This mega-hotel stands alone on the road leading to the coast, in the heart of the city and close to the major destinations Casablanca has to offer. In true Hyatt style, it provides an upscale, posh atmosphere, with the lounge divided into multiple areas, each with its own character and style. It has restaurants with both Moroccan and international cuisine, two bars and a dance club as well. There is a large pool, big enough for laps, but it was basically shut down during our time there. The pool and fitness center are available for all to use, but I was dismayed to find out that the sauna and steam room were only available for men – really Hyatt? Luckily the room, with its wood paneling and cushy bed had a large bathroom with a deep tub – some consolation at least.Recommended for:
