The Century Plaza hotel may not be the trendiest with the newest amenities like other hotels in the neighborhood ... However, it's special because it's a classic historical icon in a town where history isn't always in the spotlight.
In the past, The President of the united States would stay at the Century Plaza ... so if it's good enough for the Pres, well it's good enough for me.
The Century Plaza has some excellent food on site, however, if you're feeling like something different the Century City mall is walking distance ... and there are some very nice restaurants there.
This is also a great place for conferences. I've been to a few conferences here and it's a great venue with open WiFi which is a plus!Recommended for:

This is my go-to home away from home whilst in LA. The location can't be beat, you can walk to the century city mall. It's incredibly quiet at night and is not in a very high traffic area despite the spot. It's stylishly renovated, historic and has more than one bar to chose from as well as an in-lobby Starbucks and posh pool. I can usually find great deals here as well depending on the promotions available. Parking is expensive, though, so account for that. I recommend staying in the pool side of the building as views are better.

very good choice, i would stay here again, good location minutes from Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, the rooms are big with balcony, they have starbucks on the lobby which helps a lot as a breakfast, valet is very fast and efficient. I highly recommend this hotel.

Upon approaching this hotel, you just know you are in for a pleasant experience. It sits on top of a hill of sorts and you can tell that the views from most floors will be nice. You enter and see its a busy hotel, but still invites you in to relax and enjoy the bars and restaurants. There is car rental desk inside the hotel, Starbucks, beautiful bar area as well as a more traditional bar lounge and relaxing lobby with outdoor seating over looking the pool area. The vibe is very welcoming and whether you book a room or not, you can have a drink, have a bite and relax in the warm, contemporary atmosphere. If you do check in however, you have access to a beautiful pool area. Lots of lounge chairs, lots of open space and direct sun and the pool is very big. The pool area is large enough to accommodate over 100 people at once but it seems to still remain calm and relaxing. take a nap, get some sun, read a book. Its all doable at this pool. If you have the urge to get a work out in, the hotel has a Equinox gym on the premises which is full service, yoga, personal trainers, classes, and spa. Forgot your work out clothes, no problem. There is a store inside the facility that sells athletic wear. There is also a nice mall directly across the street and down the block from the hotel, so you are covered on all ends. I really like this hotel

A good, comfortable choice for Business in Century City — rather unfavorable for travelers on holiday in LA. The double room is comfortable and in good condition. The pool/area would be more pleasant if shades were not so persistent. Both, the valet and internet services are relatively overpriced. Nearby activities are limited to the Westfield Shopping Mall; the beach and other sites of interest are approximately a 25mins drive. It is a business district, not recommended if that is not the motive.Recommended for:
