A luxury hotel located on the outskirts of downtown Dallas and just off the 35E South freeway. Location was convenient to downtown destinations, about 5-10 minute drive.
Preferred level rooms were outfitted with a comfy lounge chair, couch, and a flat screen TV. The decor was modern and chic, definitely my kind of style. Elevators were quick and the front desk staff were friendly and accommodating.
Valet and self parking options.
Be sure to request a quiet room. The proximity to the freeway creates a lot of traffic noise.Recommended for:

Do Dallas like a boss and stay at one of most recognizable parts of the skyline. The Hyatt Regency shares prime real estate with Reunion Tower (also known as “the ball”). The massive lodging space plays host to a number of conventions, but still has space to make a casual visitor feel right at home. On the heels of a multi-million dollar renovation, the guest rooms are to die for. I was just on the third floor and felt like I was in a high-rise bachelor pad, complete with an Eames Chair and footrest. Every modern accommodation you can think of was there, and some suites even have a panoramic view of the city. It took everything in me to actually leave the room and see the rest of the property. The fitness room is a nice size with a generous number of cardio and weight equipment, and the pool, while modest, has character with its few bungalows and umbrella-shaded tables. The atrium overlooks the majority of the hotel’s dining options which are all good in their own right, but you simply cannot miss 560 by Wolfgang Puck next door atop the Reunion Tower. Also, October 2013 marks the reopening of the newly-renovated observation deck that lets you see from Downtown well into Arlington and Grand Prairie on a clear day.Recommended for:

This hotel is like a whole downtown in itself, which is why it looks more like a skyline instead of a building. The associated Reunion Tower is one of those images you always see in a picture of Dallas, and at it's peak is Wolfgang Puck's five star restaurant. It's world-class cuisine from world-famous chef. If that is too much for you, then the lobby has half a dozen restaurants more to your liking. Steakhouses, bistros, cafés, and everything else can be found in a single open area surrounded by hotel balconies.
If you want a free roller coaster experience, get in one of the inward-facing elevators, hit the top floor button, and turn to face the glass. It will rocket you up just fast enough to scare many people, but it's a safe and smooth ride to hundreds of feet in the air. If heights bother you, don't turn around. Just hold on tight to the doors (or get a room on the lower floors).
This is a massive and incredible hotel, and it has all the amenities you need. Though it's a short cab ride (or brisk walk) from downtown, it is extremely close to the infamous Dealey Plaza. So grab your family or travel buddies and enjoy your stay in the high-end of Dallas hotels.Recommended for:

I believe this place has 18 stories when we last stayed there. This hotel is breathtaking! It's so clean and beautiful. You should also check out the atrium restaurant that rotates on a platform and lets you enjoy all of Downtown Dallas view.
