World class hotel on Highway One in the heart of HB. If you can afford it, then by all means stay here and enjoy yourself. Beautiful grounds, facilities and a bridge to one of the best beaches in the world.

I absolutely loved this hotel and had a great experience with the front desk.
The first night, I stayed with my cousin (bride to be) in her suite. It had a bedroom with king bed, pullout queen bed from the couch in the living room + a full bathroom and a giant bathroom with double vanity and shower + jaccuzzi tub!
The 2nd night was the room that I bought for me, my mom, and brother. I had checked in and went to the room when I saw that I didn't have a partial ocean view (what I paid for). The woman at the front desk said it was a partial view room, but offered to switch my room once I told her I had paid more for the room to give my family a good experience (they don't come down to SoCal often). She gave me an option for an ocean view or another upgraded room (ocean view but larger room with king + queen bed). I went with the latter and my family went wild over the room! The coffee machine (Starbucks) in the room and walk-in closet was awesome, and of course the balcony view of the ocean was the best part. Thank you Hyatt :)
I didn't realize how large the property was until I was walking to my room. Whoa! My room on the second night was right by the spa with a Koi pond. Next to it was the fitness center, which was impressive! 3 small rooms of equipment and the 3rd was a training room with the bosu ball, floor mats, dumbells, etc. Take a look at the brochure that comes with your room keys--they offer a number of water sport activities for kids (water slides/pool) and adults!!!!
Definitely walk around the property for the fountains and lovely view of the beach! It's just across the street too :)
Downside: $34 for parking overnight, but you get in and out privileges.

On the oceanfront in Huntington Beach, not too far south of downtown, this upscale chain hotel has a resort feel, with a gigantic pool complex that kids love. It's also more reasonably priced, in terms of what you get for your money, than the kinda ratty motels farther north. It's also handy for escapes south to Crystal Cove State Park, another family-friendly favorite.

So Much Fun!! This hotel has great restaurants and also has a bridge that takes you from the hotel over PCH and to the beach.
what I love is the concierge at this property.
They will set up a bonfire for you on the beach side and your umbrellas.
It is really 1st rate.
The rooms are ok...need to be renovated.
all in all a good experience.

This is a hotel stay you will always remember. Why? It's a grand hotel -- from the grand entryway to the beautiful room views, the impeccable service, fine dining, refreshing pools, and ultra relaxing spa. I've been here over 4 times and every visit has delivered exactly what I expected and needed in a vacation stay. Just minutes from the water and downtown Huntington Beach, it's easy to become a local adventurer into all HB has to offer and never want to leave.

I stayed in this hotel a few years back for a girls trip, and this one was one of the most memorable ones I've stayed in. The rooms were beyond gorgeous, and the whole resort was designed beautifully. Their jacuzzis were amazing and the service was spectacular.

It’s funny that two hotels, this and the Hilton Waterfront, are adjacent to one another. Both are huge in scope and both offer similar amenities. The Hyatt however offers something the Hilton does not, a cozier more homely feeling. That sounds strange considering how big this hotel is, yet seeing that this hotel does not consist of just one giant tower, it starts to make sense. Across the property sit many different buildings that are all outfacing towards the courtyards and pool, as well as the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean that look like they were pulled directly out of a model home. The Hyatt sits at the southern end of Huntington which makes it a short car ride or about 20 minute walk from Main Street. Be sure to check out the Huntington Beach Pier, the sheer mass of people you will experience is amazing in itself.

The magnitude of this resort makes you feel like you’re on an island in the middle of Huntington Beach. The views of the beach are impeccable and you’re so close to the beach, you can almost feel the mist every time a wave breaks. The sprawling property is huge with multiple hotel towers separated by beautiful courtyards decorated with bright flowers, manicured lawns and beautiful fountains. Luxury is emphasized in the hallways where gems, paintings and marble accents make you realize you’re in a special place. Balconies for every room and the private bridge to cross Pacific Coast Highway to the beach were huge pluses. The staff was extremely. The only negative would be how big the place is since you have to walk 5-10 minutes to the pool or spa, depending on where your room is on the property.

I had the pleasure of attending a wedding at this place -- so beautiful! The rooms are giant (so perfect for getting ready in), and there are 4-5 different areas for photos and ceremonies so that even though there are a few weddings happening here at the same time, you don't feel it.
The only thing is they only have valet parking, and it can get expensive. If you grab a drink or something though at any of the restaurants then they will validate.
