The place is located near so many famous restaurants. It's unique in its location. We were planning on meeting some friends in Pacific Beach and this hotel was only about 13 minutes from there. It's also close to La Jolla Shores and a lot of shopping. The service here is excellent. They have a sporting club that shares he pool with the hotel so that was the only downfall. The pool was packed and there was no space to have a good swim. I really liked the free cookies in the lobby. Parking is $20 per night which I was not surprised because they warned me when I booked the hotel. It's a very high class area.

The Hyatt in La Jolla is located in the UTC area aka the business part of La Jolla. Located about 15 minutes (on a good day with no traffic) to the beach. This hotel is good if in town for work. The food is good and the events they put on are great. Staff is friendly!

I stayed at the Hyatt on business and it was a great business and/or leisure hotel property. I really liked the location because it was walking distance to a handful of restaurant options and even whole foods was only about a 20 minute walk away. The hotel had a very elegant lobby area and the hotel offered a very efficient in/out valet service that we took advantage of. The room we had had double beds, with very comfortable bedding. The room was large and spacious which I appreciated. The staff was very friendly as well and everyone seemed to be in a good mood all the time. Overall, the best reason to stay at this hotel is its convenient location especially if you dont have access to a car.

I remember going to a few bar and bat mitzvah parties here when I was growing up. I recall even back then being impressed. I’m mean, it is a big ass pink building beckoning from the highway. There has to be good stuff going on inside right? And there is! The rooms are well appointed, the lobby feels open and the staff is totally helpful and friendly. Not to mention that Olga is incredibly cute. I think though one of the best parts of this hotel is the pool. It’s big and of course very kid friendly. Plus they have those great cabanas so you can just hang out, order some bellinis, and start planning which of the Hyatt’s four restaurants you’re gonna eat at later.

I was there for a business meeting, but I wished I was there for pleasure. The rooms are very large and had a very nice balcony with great views. The staff was very helpful, and everything was extremely clean.

The Hyatt Regency in La Jolla is a great place to stay if you're in town visiting folks at UC San Diego ... or are just looking for a nice place to relax.

The Hyatt is a huge place with meeting rooms and great big rooms. So it's great for business and pleasure.

During the Super Bowl XXXVII the teams stayed here ... which speaks to the level of quality you'll find at the Hyatt.

You'll still need to drive if you want to get any where, but it's definitely a nice hotel to stay at.
