When you pull up, it looks like every other, Hyatt, Holiday Inn, Hilton style hotel.
When you go in however, your perception changes. The staff are really helpful from the get go. You're greeted by welcoming doormen and great hotel reception staff, only too willing to help you unwind with complimentary champagne.
The reception area is filled with comfort in the form of sofa's and armchairs. Wooden beams run across the ceiling and a stone wall brings the area together, really letting you know you're in a snowy wilderness.
The rooms are a good size and the bathroom was nice with a full stand up shower.
The facilities within the complex where amazing. They have a spa, 3 outdoor heated swimming pools, a hot tub, fire pit, gym and fitness center, meeting rooms, business center, snowboard and ski hire, casino, 2 restaurants (1 with a bar) and a cafe.
I will definitely be going back this year when the snow comes!

I was offered champagne when I arrived at the front desk to check in. That is what I call service. This place was really nice. We stayed in a separate villa right on the lake where we caught beautiful sunsets. The rooms were big and new. Beds were ok - not amazing. They have a really nice spa with steam rooms and sauna and outdoor hot tubs and pool. Would definitely come back again.

The facilities were seemingly pretty great. The pool was great, the restaurants were excellent and Hyatt did a great job with the room renovations, even if they were a bit dirty. They also accommodated my dog, which was a huge bonus.
The reason I dinged the stars was the noise. Screaming children that were awake until 11-12 and back up again before 8:00. I think the big problem was that the walls were just paper thin. Bellmen were showing our neighbors to their room quite frequently as late as midnight and for some reason they shouted when showing guests where the thermostat and coffee maker (etc.) could be found.
It's still the best option in North Tahoe and I'll definitely be back.....I'll just bring ear plugs!

Best resort in Tahoe! I would explain the feeling as you walk in as a luxury mountain cabin resort. Great restaurants, great casino, great comps, wonderful spa, nice rooms, and we especially love their complimentary shuttle ride to local ski resorts. LOVE IT!Recommended for:Luxury Travelers

I stayed here my first time snowboarding. Fantastic rooms and service. I was greeted with a glass of champagne and complimentary valet service - I have never felt so baller in my life. If you just want to relax and not have to worry about driving to an area to ski, there is a 10-15 minute shuttle to Diamond Peak that drops by every 30m. Definitely worth it for the value

Great hotel with a beautiful outdoor pool you can even enjoy from during the snow season. The pool is heated all year long and you can enter it through a heated room in the hotel. The Location of the hotel is pretty centered and they have shuttles for most of the resorts on the area.
There is a small casino and some restaurants in the hotel so if you are going without a car - this is definitely the place to stay in.

Hyatt Regency in Incline Village is my favorite North Tahoe resort because of its great service, wonderful rooms, spa, and their amazing indoor/outdoor pool and whirlpools. Really wonderful after a day in the snow AND a day of hiking. The in-house casino provides night time entertainment activity and the in-house restaurant close to the lake side is fantastic!

back in the good old day when our big group of friends would get together every 4th of july in tahoe the hyatt regency would be the place to be. during the day we spent hours in the sun at the beach but when the sun went down we would make the short walk from the cabin at incline village to the casino at the hyatt.
we always had the best of times at this casino as they had the best payouts, live entertainment and a really great bar. there was always so much going on at this place it would definitively be the place to be. this entire resort is so nice and the staff is really friendly and will go out of the way to help you in any way. no matter what we did during our week in tahoe we would always seem to finish up our night at the hyatt.
one night we left garwoods grill and i got stuck driving my friends company car and i missed our turn so i made a turn and little did i know that the ravine on the side of the road was so deep and we ended up stuck down in a ditch. the car was stuck it wouldn't budge! to our surprise we found help but it was a sheriff. he was an older gentleman and totally cool and called a tow truck to pull the car out. 10 minutes later we were pretty much on our way and he said,"let's just see what you would've blew" ugh! so i blew and i was over the limit and freaking out but lucky for me we were just over the nevada line by literally 100 feet. i was safe. from this point on everyone else that was in the car also wanted to blow and see what they come out at! i couldn't believe, this not a good idea! well we were all over and the sheriff made up walk over to the hyatt regency to mellow out and we did so i gambled and lost while the others pretty much passed out in the lobby.
i never had to pay for a room here but i sure saw so much of this great resort.
