My friend and I had the opportunity to stay here during the Disneyland Half Marathon weekend. I remembered passing by here during a shuttle stop years ago when I was last at the Disneyland area. With just one glance at the property, I had only hoped that I could one day stay here. Mission accomplished! The lobby area was very inviting. It even had fruit infused water available for visitors and guests to help themselves to. The room was spacious with comfortable beds. Barely any noise was heard in the hallways, which was surprising for such a popular event going on that weekend. Luckily since we stayed with an employee discount, parking was free. My friend will be back for another stay for another marathon next year. As for me? I'm hoping I'll have another chance to stay a few more nights at this hotel in the future.Recommended for:

We stayed here because we had a wedding to attend and I was very impressed with the inside decor. The venue was a great spot for weddings and it's also only 15 minutes from John Wayne Airport so it made traveling less of a headache. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food at the wedding was great. Apparently they partner up with certain catering companies to accommodate the bride and groom's preferred type of cuisine. The banquet service was a little confusing but it's probably because we had a new server or something. I definitely recommend staying here if you're traveling to Orange County.Recommended for:

This is a great hotel if you can catch it when it offers special prices. Because of the plethora of competitive hotels nearby for Disneyland and the Anaheim convention center, they do run specials occasionally off season. If so, you get the full "Hyatt Touch" in decor, service and quality of experience at a lesser chain's price. I got Mon night for $89 and Tue and Wed at $134, for an average of about $118! Typically a Hyatt is over $200. The caveat was that Self Parking is $15 a day, which is free across the street at Anahiem Marriott Suites Hampton Inn, or Hilton Garden.
Pulling into the driveway of the Hyatt is reminscent of Rio De Janeiro's wide, black and white mosaic sidewalks at Copa Cobana and Ipanema beaches. Being a full service Hyatt, they have several parking attendants trying to get tip money from you to valet your car.
This Hyatt has the signature Hyatt large atrium lobby, which in this case is a 15 story glass wall latticed enclosed lobby, hinting of the nearby Crystal Cathedral half a mile away. There is a Starbucks concession shop in the lobby, a Pizza Hut next to hit, and the hotel's main restaurant open roofed in the Atrium, too. Toward the back there are meeting rooms as part of the Garden Grove convention center.
The king size bed in my corner room on the 15th floor was absolutely sumptuous! A firm bed mattress covered with a luxuriously cushioned mattress pad, with 6 full pillows, and closely threaded sheets made rest an easy task after a long day plying the trade! A nice sized desk to work on and adequate power plugs (for once!) made life easier. The desk lamp was a 3 way, but it was hard to actuate the switch. The view was into the Atrium. The room was good sized and quiet. The decor in the halls and rooms was a pleasing mix of bamboo colored textured wall paper and soft blue/green carpeting with a geometric design. It made you feel relaxed.
Oddly, for a full service hotel they do not place a USA Today at your door or slip your final bill under it. I guess as mainly families stay here for Disneyland rather than just business travellers, they don't offer these conveniences that are de riguer at most business chains.Recommended for:

The Hyatt Regency Orange County hotel is a solid 4 star hotel neighboring Anaheim city. They offer discounted twilight Disneyland tickets to business and convention center travelers at their Disney kiosk. Their complimentary shuttle bus to Disneyland runs every 30 minutes and the convenient pick-up and drop-off stops right in front of the main lobby.
The rooms are neat and renovated, with comfortable beds and nice amenities (free coffee in to-go cups, toothpaste in the restroom).
Note: Self-Parking is $15 behind the hotel, and wifi is $10/day.

Not much I can say about a Hyatt in Anaheim area ... Not a huge fan of Anaheim, so I tend to steer clear unless I'm here for business.
But I will tell you this ...
- newly renovated rooms - all new amenities and furnishings, upscale appeal
- the events staff knows their stuff! they are spot on! friendly, helpful, professional and everything was complete as planned! A+++ here!
- front desk and concierge staff = excellent as well! i'm a service oriented person, and when it's nailed, I like to spread the good word ...
The lowdown: If you find yourself in Anaheim, in need of a hotel, this Hyatt is an excellent choice.Recommended for:
