The Magners was flat. That should be all you need to know about this place. There were certainly some weird 'Irish' dishes that I have never seen in Ireland. I had to send my meal back and just order a hamburger because my blue cheese, broiled meat dish was inedible. It's probably a better place to hang out than actually ...

Oysters! Lobster. Catfish. Oysters. Halibut. Oysters! Rumor has it politicians like to hang out here. Not a bad place to eat and linger if you're hoping for some sightings of Capitol Hill residents.

I am a mexican food nut. This hole in the wall is cheap and super tasty. Chorizo and fish tacos are not to be missed. They also serve a lot of American favorites such as chicken pot pie or hamburgers with pimento cheese.

Spanish chef José Andrés is renowned for his dedication to learning other cultures’ cuisines. As he noted earlier in 2013: “It was the galleon ships of Spain’s King Philip II that connected these two worlds hundreds of years ago. Those Spanish ships allowed for an exchange of foods, dishes, stories, and traditions.” He spent time in Mexico before opening Oyamel ...

One of my favorite restaurants in D.C. Can be tough to get a table when there is a convention in town but the food and atmosphere here are exceptional. Be sure to try the crispy spinach dish. There are no bad choices on the menu.

My parents took my boyfriend and I here. They enjoyed the beer, and I got their chili which is good, but not as spicy as I expected since it claimed to have jalapenos in it. The horseradish mustard that comes with the pretzels that every table gets was really good, but I found out it'll make your nose feel like ...

Burgers made to order, fresh fries, and a top notch menu of real shakes. If that is what you are hankering for, it is one of the best places you will find. Close to Capitol Building and Library of Congress. Don't be afraid of a long line, as it moves pretty quick. It is fairly popular, so have someone look ...

This location gets a plus for having 2 gift shops. If 1 is super crowded just make your way through the restaurant to the 2nd one that's not right off the street. There is also a 2nd story where you don't feel completely cut off from the rest of the place as you can look down into the bar. It's ...

The pizza sub: good. The macaroni salad: good. The service: somewhat lacking. Pomegranate margaritas = blended, icy, alcoholic goodness. Lively atmosphere that isn't at all stuffy. Tequila shots in trios. Large vats of fresh guacamole (ok, I gist. They aren't vats, but they are massive bowls). Good for dates, after-work happy hours, or large groups alike.

The pizza is good. I highly recommend ordering a whole pie as opposed to a slice. Then you will get a fresh-made pizza, and it is much better that way, even if you have to wait.

Hello, giant amounts of delicious meat. If you're a meat lover, this is a good place for you. The salad bar is also pretty good, but the meat is the focus.
