I took a stroll through Hyde park on my way to the shopping district and just had to stop, sit in one of the lounge chairs and enjoy the weather and people watching. It was a beautiful sunny September day and I could not have been luckier.

Walk the entire perimeter! Start at Commonwealth memorials at Hyde Park Corner, walk east through to Green Park & Buckingham Palace. Go the other way from Hyde Park corner, see the Queen Mum's fairytale Gate, pass The Serpentine into Kensington Gardens and end up at High Street Kensington.

Its a really nice place, incredibly big, lots of grass, water, docks and squirrels. In a sunny day its beautuful! Dont forget to visit the Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain (Princess Diana).

If it's a warm day then Hyde Park is the place to be if you're in London! It's ideal if you want to have a picnic, 'play ball', socialise with your friends, eat ice cream, have a family day out or run around going crazy because the place is huge! It's walking distance from Oxford Street which might be convenient if you want to have a mini shopping spree whilst having a break from all that relaxing!Recommended for:Family Travelers

Great to visit on a sunny day. You have lots of people out in the open tanning and many games being played which you can occasionally join in on. There is also the lake in the middle which i advise you visit. Great to Stroll through and also very near oxford street which is the main shopping district of London. Great break inbetween all the hectic shopping. A must do!

Hyde Park is a lovely piece of greenery well needed and welcomed in the heart of London, with its open vista, trees, grass and water. It is a respite from the hustle and bustle of one of the worlds busiest cities. When the weather is "Fine" as the Brits like to say, or "Partly Sunny", all the better for your stroll in Hyde Park.
