We all know that the food at In-N-Out deserves five stars, so I'm going to focus this review on the venue. With the standard layout of a sit-down In-N-Out, this location was able to handle the immense tourist traffic generate by being in the middle of Hollywood.
Even during the weekday lunch rush, I was able to find a two-top for me and my friend with little difficulty. The parking lot was a bit congested, but with the high rate of turnover, I was able to find a parking spot in less than 5 minutes. The drive-thru option is also very efficient with a carhop taking orders at your car window so the kitchen has your order ASAP.
If you're a tourist visiting the Hollywood area and you're itching to try the world famous In-N-Out burger than you won't be disappointed by this location.Recommended for:

This was my first In-n-Out experience being from the Midwest. The place was constantly busy the hour we were there, but service was quick and super friendly.
The food was ok. But I had high expectations from what everyone told me. It was good, fries were great, and the milkshake was a step above ok. Bathrooms were decent, not a ton of seating, but decent. The location is walkable from the walk of fame and mall at Highland. And it's cheap as hell too. 4 of us ate with drinks, fries and a shake for under $20!!! California prices even! Decent food, decent price, quickly.Recommended for:

You can't have a true California experience without visiting In - n - out. You should go with a local if you can so they can show you the ways of the secret menu. I highly recommend the animal style fries - don't ask, just get it.Recommended for:

The best hamburgers, period. And the cheapest price. Ask for the neapolitan shake, not on the menu. Can have carb free..with no bun and lettuce as the bun...or ask for "Animal Style" on hamburgers or fries. Animal style is not on the menu so you need to ask for it...it includes grilled onions. Always busy. You can walk there. And afterwards, go across the street and go shoe shopping at the huge Off Broadway.

**2013 & first In-N-Out Review**
What is up with these burgers?
Why does it seem like you can easily scarf down 10?
Why is each one so satisfying?
What I absolutely appreciate from In-N-Out is that frozen ingredients don't exist and processed items are limited (maybe cheese and bread-- which I don't do). Meat patties are thin, not thick, so you don't feel extremely hefty afterwards.
My favorite way of ordering an In-N-Out Burger:
1. Double Double Protein Style - No bread, wrapped in lettuce
2. Onions BOTH ways - both grilled and raw. You can double it too, if you're a real onion fiend.
3. No Salt on the Patty - The cheese is salty enough anyway, might as well save some sodium intake
------That's 520 calories, for the calorie conscious.
The vanilla shake is fantastic. Don't forget to ask for a side of yellow pepper chilies, spread, and peppered ketchup to complement your fries and burger.
Justin Y. also recommends the Rootbeer Float (secret menu item), except that In-N-Out hasn't quite perfected the science for this item. Every time an employee makes it, it ends up erupting like a volcano..... and we ask for a million napkins everytime.
A lot of tourists @ this location, but the employees are still efficient and quick to churn out these babies. I'M A FAN

Perfect place for a burger after the clubs, but it does get packed! They have a small lot for parking.
Friday and Saturday opens till 3am, all of the other days are open till 1:30am.
You can get any of the burgers protein style if you want to cut out the carbs.
Drive trough is available. Plenty of seatings inside. Good customer service, working hard!

In-N-Out is good basic burgers and fries. They do have unwritten menu such as a protein style ( lettuce instead of a bun) and grilled cheese. I don't know all of the secrets but it is easy enough to google.
