Incline Village is one place that people with significant means move to live near Lake Tahoe. The combination of luxury, killer views, nice climate, and tax haven advantages is a nice combination if you can afford it. Sierra Nevada College's main campus is also located in Incline Village

Gorgeous area in North Lake Tahoe. There's a couple resorts in the area, namely Diamond Peak with amazing views of the lake. There's areas to pull of the side of the road and enjoy the beach and recreation areas. Residential area with a few stores. Quiet, and full of lush plants.

I love Incline Village. I love, love, love this little town. It sits quietly around the Lake, with it's gorgeous views and empty beaches. Of course, that's not the case come summertime, but still. It's close enough to the Mt. Rose highway that you can get to it quite easily - and along the way, bask at the palatial views at the vista point.

There's not much in Incline Village, but that's okay. I hope it stays that way.

I loved staying in Incline Village and want to bring my whole family there from the east coast. You don't have to be catholic to check out St Francis of Assisi church. So peaceful.

The CA-NV state line at Lake Tahoe is a fun place to be. Don't miss the Stateline Fire Lookout hike that's right there on the CA side.

There is a ton of motels, hotels, cabins and lodges to stay in around Incline village, just over the Nevada border and within a 15-minute drive of Tahoe City. There are beautiful views of the lake from literally any location you go to and a range of mountains to choose from to ski on, with Alpine being the best and only about 30 minutes away by car and Northstar a comparable, albeit more expensive, mountain about the same distance away.

I like this location on the North side. Classy and good access to the area.
