This is one of the least visually appealing hotels I've ever seen; its lobby is dusty, the rooms mismatched and shabby. But it is clean, and the wifi and continental breakfast are free. The staff seem to prefer low-maintenance guests, so if that's your style, then this would be a good choice for you. Parking here is also cheaper than at other hotels that are close to Wrigley Field. There's a Panera and a Starbucks across the street, and tons of bars and restaurants in the area.Recommended for:

The Inn at Lincoln Park is located near many shops and restaurants, and that’s a good thing because it’s not a hotel that I’d want to hang out at for very long. Though it’s not worn down, it does seem pretty dated. The lobby isn’t particularly inviting, and the adjacent parking isn’t free.
Yet, there’s a lot of stuff to do nearby. Visitors can walk to the beach, Lincoln Park Conservatory, Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, or beautiful North Pond. There’s a shopping mall and movie theater just around the corner, as well as the infamous Wieners Circle. The nearby Duke of Perth has the biggest selection of Scotch in the city. My advice is to check in, unpack, and hit the bricks.Recommended for:

Although the Inn at Lincoln Park has a great location right near Lake Michigan and the happening stretch of Clark Street, the hotel is very outdated. It could definitely use some renovations. Shabby, old Victorian style chairs make the lobby look particularly old and the bedrooms aren't much better. The beds felt lumpy and tacky pink curtains made it look extra cheap. The bathroom floor tiles looked a bit dirty and everything just seemed to be extremely worn in.
The staff wasn’t rude, but they definitely didn’t go out of their way to make me feel welcome. And I think it's pretty lame that they make you pay for parking even though they have their own parking lot. What's up with that?!Recommended for:

This hotel is worth staying at if only for the fact that it comes with parking fairly near Wrigley, though it isn't free. But it really is charming in its own right. Every room has its quirks. Because the hotel is a converted apartment building, no two are alike. It’s a little thing, but it has a huge effect on the experience. It makes it personal. Otherwise, this hotel is very normal. The Wi-Fi is free. There’s a complimentary continental breakfast in the morning, but all the furniture, every room, feels like it has a history, which makes you feel like you’re a part of history. If you’re someone who’s into that sort of thing, this place is pretty cool. If not, it's still a pretty good deal. There’s also a lot of great shopping to be done. You are staying in Lincoln Park.Recommended for:
