I found the service here to be really accommodating. I was charmed by the rooftop terrace packed with fruit trees and foliage. Generally the place is nice (though not breathtaking). The location is super touristy, a crazy shopping zone (Gucci is across the street, per esempio). There is no lobby whatsoever, but if you get the junior suite, that won't really matter. The suite looks out over the Spanish Steps. There's no bar or restaurant inside either, but there are plenty of places to find food and drink nearby.

The luxurious Inn at the Spanish Steps not only has a great location, but offers an aperitivo gratis each day to its lucky guests. For the foodie with a little extra spending money, this is the place to stay.Recommended for:Foodies

There are several things to really like about the Inn at the Spanish Steps. It is a sweet little boutique hotel with just a few rooms, and a free (you will make up for this little perk in the cost of your room, so take a deep breath before getting too excited about unlimited Roman snacking). The place feels a touch English country home and a touch Italian stately palazzo, but is definitely a comfortable stay. Be warned: there is literal elevator music. If you love shopping, it's also right on the Via dei Condotti, where you can pick up all the Prada, Bulgari and Dolce & Gabbana that you want, or skip that and go sit on the Spanish Steps, just up the street.Recommended for:Luxury Travelers

Its expensive, but the luxury can't be beaten. There is renaissance artwork on the ceilings, and the afternoon snacks provided by the hotel are great. You can't even begin to complain about location because its literally just down the street from the spanish steps.
