Our tour group had Lunch at this Intercontinental Hotel. It's a pretty and well-appointed Hotel within an unremarkable urban mass called Athens. The Lunch was a delicious buffet and a welcome mid-day respite.

A "must visit" place of Athens. It's story is quite interesting but the most impressive is the size of the temple. You won't be able to believe how could people living thousands years ago could ever build something like this!

Seeing a play or concert here is definitely a lifetime experience. It's amazing enough to see the theater from above at the Acropolis, but taking a seat transports you back to another time. I liked sitting at the top of the back - to see the audience, and the view of Athens beyond. Beware, they don't like photography one the ...

Temple dedicated to Poseidon located on Athens' Acropolis hill. I think it has already been restored. The only thing is that some original pieces have been moved to the Acropolis Museum to protect them from pollution, so the caryatid statues are actually made of plaster, not marble.

Well, it's good but not more than that. A bit pricey, since it's in Kolonaki a quite expensive area. If you are in Athens for a few days, there's no reason to try find Big Apple, since there are many other cafes/bars in the city center but if you have some spare time, you could have adrink or something!

Don’t miss the most famous artifact – the gold Mask of Agamemnon.
