I had the pleasure of meeting Ruben Casey. He’d been working at the hotel since it first opened 20 years ago. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the building, its history and the artwork displayed all around the hotel. Some of the rooms were more modern than others. I preferred the traditional rooms, which were fitted with carpet. I felt like I’d walked back in time to a wealthier, more economically-stable Buenos Aires. The pool was beautiful and made me feel very relaxed. The little cafe located to the right of the entrance hallway was another historic gem - it still had a functioning coffee machine, which looked like copper, from the early 20th century. The top floor was reserved exclusively for guests who had rooms on the top floor. They had their own breakfast room to dine in too. I found this little touch of exclusivity charming.

Beautiful InterContinental Hotel Buenos Aires is very centrally located and is walking distance to restaurants and shops. There is also a nice little wine shop in-house. The lobby area is very posh, the business center is awesome. The service is wonderful and we enjoyed the spacious and comfortable rooms very much.
