Stayed here for a long weekend in December 2012.
The club suites are spacious with extremely comfortable beds. There is plenty of wardrobe space and the bathroom is also spacious although the lighting is a little 'dark'. A nice touch is the 'Dead Sea' toiletries.
Our room had a Nespresso coffee machine and free water was supplied daily. Room service was a little slow and requests were occasionally 'lost in translation'
(but then again, I don't speak Arabic!)
Strangely the 'do not disturb' and 'clean my room' indicators has been wired the wrong way round which meant our room was not cleaned on our first night, although this was subsequently resolved.
We found the concierge very helpful and they arranged trips to Petra (day) and Jerash (half day), although the trips are rather pricey. I also found the front desk very helpful and they indeed extended our checkout to 8 pm, as I had a very late evening flight home.
The club lounge is excellent, serving breakfast, teas, coffees, snacks and it also has a popular 'happy hour'. A special mention for Lara at the club desk.
The location is OK but you will need to get a taxi into the town (standard tourist taxi prices). Conversely the hotel will arrange airport transfers for a reasonable fee.
Just a slight aside from the hotel itself, there are two nail spas within the hotel lobby area. One establishment is darkly lit and the other very brightly lit. Prices are the same and I would avoid the former.
A solid if unspectacular stay but I would visit again.
