The hotel could use some sprucing up and that is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. The location in Downtown Manila is Spectacular. really does not get better than this. The staff is unbelievable. I wound absolutely stay here again!

This is a great place indeed! Always a choice of hotel while shopping in Manila. A really nice restaurant inside here as well. I love the lounge, its small but cozy inside. Live entertainments every night. I have to say that, Filipinos are talented singers and musicians.

The rooms here are pricey but very nice and comfortable beds. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
I am looking forward to staying here again.

When in Makati for business, this is the place to stay at. Conveniently located in the business district of Ayala Avenue, this is not only convenient for business, but convenient for just about everything.

Boundried by the Glorietta 5 Shopping Center and Shoe Mart, there is everything for you once you step outside the confines of the hotel. Shopping, eateries, theaters, coffee shops abound; no need to take a taxi once you’re there. But back to the hotel.

This hotel has been around since the early 70s, but taking a stroll around the property you will never know it. The rooms are pretty standard but on the small side, same with the lobby. If you have a room with two beds it could get a little tight. Pool area is a nice seclusion from the hustle and bustle of downtown, which is right on the other side of the wall from you. Breakfast buffet at the Café Jeepney has limited offering compared to the competition, but is still adequate.

Of all the business hotels I have stayed at, the Intercontinental Makati ranks right up there.

Its a more historic hotel which I believe michael jackson once stayed. The furnishing are a touch dated but the top floor ballroom is still fantastic and large enough to hold a huge function. The location of the hotel is right in the middle of the financial district and right across from the shopping center where everything is at. Though things could have been renovated, it does bring back a sort of sense of what things were like in Manila's earlier years.
