The only thing that was exceptionally good about this hotel was the location.
The service was bad and there is no way to sugar coat that.
The rooms were ok and had everything necessary that was needed but the rooms are a little dated.
and let me stress again that the service was NOT GOOD. I get that this property caters to business men but they deserve better.
The staff was miserable and it made for an uncomfortable stay.

Located along the river, at the end of one of the most prestigious shopping streets in Europe and right by the heart of the Jewish district, the InterContinental Prague is spacious, full of gift and luxury jeweler shops and has a 9th floor restaurant with a terrace view open in the evenings. There are plenty of lounge areas, a bar, secure parking, a business centre PC station and Wifi access. You don’t have to interrupt your work-out cycle while traveling here, as there is a gym with an aerobic hall, a whirlpool, pool and even tanning beds. It is an ideal place to begin your Prague tour with easy access to any part of the city, whether it be its historical centre, shopping districts or one of many green parks, including Letna park, which is right across the river and offers a spectacular view of the 100-spired city.

I was here many years ago. Got a free room upgrade to a deluxe and it was quite nice. More importantly, I can't imagine a better location. Although the hotel doesn't have charm, it's very comfortable and within walking distance of Old Town and the Charles Bridge.
