This is a massive hotel. Where do I start?
What I liked about it
1/ For families, it is great. There is a massive foyer underneath a glass dome with duck pond and all. Lots of natural light. Lots of space to explore.
2/ They have a mock ancient town in the foyer as well and there's a performance every evening. I ended up dancing with the performers. Super touristy but what the heck.
3/ Get a room with a view (facing the mountains) there should be many rooms to choose from
4/ Go to the spa and indoor heated pool every night
4/ The hotpot restaurant
What I didn't quite like
1/ The breakfast - although it had a big spread, the food was not up to scratch
2/ Some rooms have a musty smell

The Intercontinental Jiuzhai Paradise is like paradise enclosed in its own biosphere. Perhaps the most vast resort in the Jiuzhai scenic region, the Jiuzhai Paradise has its own hot springs spa, biosphere enclosed gardens, waterfalls, an inhouse bazaar, six towers of rooms all with garden views. The amenities just go on and on. The service is spot on and our rate included a massive breakfast buffet spread. This is one wonderful resort that was not easy to get to, yet hard to leave.
