This hotel is beautiful and new and everything about its design is nice and chic. The rooms are pretty standard sized, with standard amenities. The one thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is that the staff is a little OVER vigilant about noise. Which - I guess could be good if you are "a family" or a "serious ...

Yay it's open! Convenient location in SOMA at The Metreon for city dwellers. Note: the entrance is on Mission, not along 4th St where the mall entrance is. Do some shopping, grab a meal, watch a movie all in one area...as always, there's a Starbucks inside too (has a separate entrance as well.

The Moscone Center is a wonderful place for conventions and special events. I've been here for Wondercon, Car Shows, and Coin shows. The spaces are large, so the set ups can be quite amazing. Wondercon here was super fun, as the cosplayers come out in full swing. Keep up the good work, Moscone!

I'm a social butterfly. What can I say? As always, I handed myself the club card to go out for some dancing. Well, I deserved it after a stressful few weeks. Where else would I go? Nonetheless, SF. Meandering the streets of SF and feeling obliterated to leave Supperclub, I had the urge to head to Monarch. Odds were 10 ...

Burke Williams in SF is amazing. It is a newer facility, introduced when the new Westfield was built in Union Square. The facilities are enormous, rich with amenities and staffed by a competent team. My girlfriends and I were looking for a place that could accommodate several people around the same time, with amenities like steam rooms, hot tubs, and ...

I only like this place for the movie theater, Jillians and the park outside....not to mention that there's a Beard Papa's cream puff place across the street (first one in NorCal I believe). This is the best view of SF I have seen. The drinks were a little pricey and there is no happy hour available. The place was a little busy, I would suggest sitting at the bar if you are looking for fast service. Still the view makes it worth heading up to the 39th floor on the Marriott Marquis.

The is the Walgreen's where the Hood meets the Tourist Hordes. The upshot are tacky SF souvenir displays up front and lots of locked up toiletries (including toothpaste!) throughout the store. Otherwise, this place has the usual packed aisles (people and merchandise), disorientation on the location of what you're looking for, and employees who are doing their best to serve ...

Coming to this Cole-Fox Hardware Store is quite a treat.
