This may have been glorious when it was built but today it is primarily just a field with what amounts to a few rocks. The exception is the Tomb of Cyrus which may appeal to history buffs but, otherwise, this is little more than a WC stop on the road between Shiraz and Yazd.

This impressive necropolis is a short drive from Persepolis and an easy stop off on your way too / from. Think of it as a mini-Petra. I liked it as much as Persepolis itself though it is far less famous.
