The Issac hostel in Dublin is quite popular amongst the backpcking crowd. This large hostel has their formula figured out on how to attract a lot of guests and make them tell their friends about it. The lobby is alwyas quite active with people checking their emails, cooking meals or just drinking some beers around the table. If you dont like noise and being around people, this is not the hostel for you. The rooms here were very basic. You got minimal bedding and they stuff like 10 people into each dorm. The shared bathroom places were not that clean, but not the worst i have seen. We made it work to stay there, but i probably would not stay there again. it was a little too backpacker friendly for my liking. We did take advantage of their large shared kitchen space to make dinner, but all the pots and utensils were old and very used.Recommended for:
