Ok, so I didn't actually stay in the rooms, but I was on their beach, in the lobby, explored the yoga studio and ate at their restaurant. My general impression was this is very much a spot for wellness-focused couples and young families. Everything is close by and makes the resort almost like a perfect bubble (should you care to ...Popular with

Beautiful! Three pools, ample space in the rooms, private beach and more! This spot has been a favorite of political powerhouses such as Tony Blair and the Clintons. The nice touches from stained glass to fountain features really carry throughout the hotel.Popular with

It may be budget-friendly, but it's certainly nothing to scoff at! The room was small, but tidy. Everything was kept clean. The features were more modern than expected. Also included a nice courtyard pool (small). We had an excellent view from our deck overlooking the water to Cancun.Popular with

This is a rare bit of colonial style on Isla Mujeres--beautiful rooms with wood furniture and neat tiled floors. The building also has a rooftop bar with views around the entire island. But it really all comes down to the host, Steve, who is charming and mixes a mean margarita! (Seriously, pace yourself at happy hour!)Popular with

On my first visit to Isla, I didn't go to this side of the island where Avalon Reef Club is sitting on, you must visit this area. The hotel is sitting on its own island, there is a bridge to the hotel from the street where Na Balam hotel is situated. In front of this hotel, there is a small ...

Pros: It is on the beach, you can leave your room in a swimming suit. Breakfast is included and reasonable price. Cons: No internet connection, OLD facilities, Hard to communicate with some of the staff members. The bar/restaurant staff are the very rude.

This was one of our Honey moon "splurges" and it was still very reasonably priced for the quality of experience we had. The service was lackluster by comparison, but the facility was beautiful. It had its own little cove for swimming on the white sand beach and we got a room with a hot tub on the deck that had ...

Great beachfront accommodation, in full condos with kitchens--this is excellent value, especially compared with other places on Playa Norte. The building itself is set back from the water a bit (ideally you'd have an upper-floor room, for a view of the sea), with lots of palm trees for privacy. There's also a big pool. And a guy will meet you ...Popular with

I think Na Balam is located at the best spot on the island. It has its own restaurant/bar on the northern beach side. It has no internet connection and has no TV in rooms. Still, by far the best located hotel. Their breakfast is excellent, the restaurant staff are not friendly nor the manager at the restaurant. Still, it is ...

This is by far the best located youth hotel ever. It is on the beach, they offer many classes throughout the day, yoga in the morning on the beach, a Spanish class in the evening would keep you busy. It is a party hostel, not so clean either but has a great bar and restaurant located at the hostel. I ...Popular with

Perfect panoramic views with a beautiful building (everything is PURE WHITE). No additional facilities, just very simple. Often I couldn't find staff members. It is a very quiet place and this hotel is a bit away from the busy street but everything is within a walking distance.Popular with
