The tacos here were the most memorable things I have eaten during my Kauai trip. Just because they sell tacos don't immediately assume it is a Mexican eatery. It is a 100% Hawaiian place with a lot of island flair.
Ahi and Mahi Mahi tacos were both heavenly. If it is your first visit, do not leave without trying either one (preferably both). You will be really silly to order something like pork or chicken and pass up the seafood. The fish tasted very fresh and the seasoning really complimented it well.
One thing you need to know - these tacos are not human size. A single one is filling enough for most. Don't even think about getting two unless you are training for an eating competition. Their freshly made tortilla tasted amazing. The fried tortilla chips on the side were irresistible too. I love the variety of dipping sauce available. Cilantro Lime and Shoyu Curry were both so very delicious.
Make it a must stop on your way to Waimea Canyon.

Hands down, best fish tacos on the island! At first I was a little taken back by $6 for a taco, but so worth it! I love the seared wasabe ahi taco omg yummmm! Chunks of super fresh tuna and that spicy wasabe sauce that they toss it in is delish! Those little wonton chips and spicy salsa are pretty addicting too. The shrimp taco though was boring, it was cajan but it lacked flavor and spice. Oh well, come for the fish!!!

**DAMN TASTY AHI TUNA AND PORK TACOS**
Man oh man.
If tacos tasted like theirs, I would actually like Mexican cuisine.
Fun taco shack.
Small area to eat.
ORDERED (filled with seasoned rice, cabbage, cheese, and salsa):
**SEARED WASABI AHI ($7.50)
Hawaiian tuna slightly seared (rare) with wasabi aioli sauce? F YEAH. It was fusion at its finest and my mouth thanked me.
**KAHLUA PORK ($6.95)
Smoked pulled pork with spinach?! YES indeedy. I was IN LOVE. The pork with the home made tortilla was FANTASTIC.
Don't you dare go to that shrimp place across the street.
